1977 Yamaha DT250 Basically barn find!!! Two stroke street legal factory dual sport enduro etc.. Clean title in my name. Current non op status with california DMV, with receipt, for over ten years. Located in southern california, about 60 miles east of Los Angeles. Stored inside my garage the whole time. I can assist loading the bike or can drop off at shipper if its within 10 or 15 miles for free. Other arrangements available at extra charge. Engine is seized. It's two stroke so it should be simple job to fix, but I've never gotten around to it and perhaps never will. I do have another engine. It is from (I think) yamaha MX250 but I'm not sure. It does not go with this auction but I'm reasonable guy and maybe we can make deal if you win the bike. Otherwise I'll sell it separately... There is reserve, and might lower that as the auction draws near to close, depending on my mood at the time. Sorry to sound like jerk but think its pretty cool surviving piece and don't totally want to sell it yet so I'm hoping someone else wants it more than do! It also used to belong to my father in law, and we worked on many yamahas together, and have some amount of sentimental attachment to it, but understand free markets also. Maybe the market will straighten out my feelings. I reserve the right to end auction early as bike is also for sale locally.
