Up for sale is this very nice Yamaha that is in 99% original condition. This classic has been well cared for it's entire life and runs strong while still looking great. Please view the embedded YouTube video for comprehensive walk-around and road test demonstration.The original factory paint is in very nice condition and the chrome is excellent. There are few minor blemishes which we have pointed out in the video and the large format photos included below. There is dent on the left side muffler and also some barely noticeable dings on the front fender at the front brace. The bike starts right up and runs very strong with good power and smooth shifting. There are no oil leaks, smoke or funny noises.
The bike presents very well for 45 years old which we feel is testament to excellent care and maintenance. The front tire is new and the rear has excellent tread remaining. The fuel tank is spotless inside. new sealed battery was installed.In 1975 the XS650 was rated at 53 HP which put it above the British Bikes of that era. It features an overhead cam and twin Mikuni carbs. The 1975 model featured both electric and kick start.
