Stunning and rare 1975 Ducati Supersport. As with the "green frame" Supersports from the previous year, the 75s were built to identical "race" specification. This particular example was first delivered in Australia by Norm Fraser Motorcycles (Sydney), and unlike most all 249 built this one’s excellent provenance confirms it was spared the rigors of racing by all of its six owners. In preparation for selling the owner commissioned renown Ducati historian, Ian Falloon, to examine and authenticate the originality of this very rare motorcycle. The ‘Falloon Report’ provides amazing detail about the 1975 Supersport, revealing why things were done, the reasons Ducati made particular decisions at the time, events of the day that steered the direction of this tiny factory that would go on to dominate motorcycle racing across the globe.
