This bike has been completely dis-assembled, the frame was restored along with all of the hardware.The engine was dis-assembled, any component that showed wear was replaced. Wear items such as ball bearings on the main shafts and shift drum were replaced new. The headset on this bike has "Timken Bearing Upgrade" for durability. The majority of the components used on this 1974 restomod are genuine Yamaha or from Japanese origin, all based on availability. The front brake resevoir is new aftermarket and the braking system has been completely overhauled. The front caliper was dis-assembled media-blasted followed by electro coating of zinc and polished to shine. Front forks were dis-assembled, all components were throughly cleaned and re-assembled using new seals and the correct fluid. Tires are fresh AVON replacements that were recently changed. New chain is Parts Unlimited (Oring) and has barely been broken in.
