1947 Indian Chief with Sidecar This very nice matching numbers Indian Chief with sidecarhas such long list of extras that it's very hard to image the time and effortthat went into this very exceptional restoration.   Starting with the80ci engine, this power plant was built using Carillo rods, balanced S&Sflywheels, Bonneville cams, hard chromed oil pump internals, modern Kei-HinCV carburetor and an anti-syphen breather tube, and, the best part is, itdoesn't leak oil!  The transmission is set up with four speed overdrivegear box using the updated King clutch system to transfer power to the backwheel. The motorcycle is also equipped with quick change remote oil filter,an NOS 52-53 speedometer, stainless steel spokes, powder coated wheels trued byBuchannan's Spoke and Wheel, 450x18 Coker tires, 12 volt electrical system,working turn signals set up with indicator lights and audio warning, H4 quartshead light, home made Indian face "aooga" horn, Indian script spotlights, welded "not soldered" gas tanks, home made rear rack and anoriginal paint 1940's Coca Cola crate made into Scoot Boot, tallerhandlebars, bright work is electroless nickel plate, hand made leather saddlebags with removable canvas inserts and the list goes on. The correct year"all steel" original Indian sidecar come with working wheel brake,fully re-upholstered seat and side panels, full tonneau cover, spare wheel withnew Coker tire, hand formed polished body rails, side car jack, quick changeside car brake rods and remote dolly for sidecar removal.
