The van will need transfer case/ front shaft added to the transmission to complete the 4x4 conversion..  Currently it is only 2wd until the case is installed.  
2001 7.3 162k. Started building it up as my traveler for me and the wife/kiddos. We’ve put about 20k trouble free miles on it since started building it. Family likes the van, but isn’t into the noise of the diesel, especially at 6am. Its unfortunate but she wants gas van.I searched and searched for months on end for the cleanest 7.3 extended passenger van for my build. finally found one here in Florida with slider door.  It was owned by retired high school auto shop teacher and was the nicest one had ever seen and was by far the in the best condition mechanically.  After an immediate purchase installed Expovans west* mg metal works 4x4 conversion brackets, 2014 superduty front axle and matching sterling rear. used Carli trac bar, new Fox shocks/ stabilizer and RedHead steering box for the build. It has new moog springs and sway bar ends. have not added transfer case yet or front driveshaft.  Outback the stock real springs were utilized using sky fab spring hanger relocation kit.  The factory rear springs ride great.  There are no stiff lift springs or lifting blocks  It is built right and feels like stock van. The trucks 7.3 is bone stock with no mods or tuners. It has new Firestone’s on ford king ranch Super Duty 20” wheels. The van runs down the highway at 80 mph with ease. It has zero shakes, wobbles or shimmies. The interior is very nice and has captains chairs (rear swivel 360*) and two rear benches.  The drivers seat is new takeout from 2019 E-series.  also added oem ford key less entry pad.  keep captains chairs and my cot in there.  The other captains and benches are included (not pictured)  Factory running boards make for easy entry for all including Grandma!  Van drives amazingly for vehicle of its size.   Message me if you have any questions.  I’m in Florida, minutes from the Gainesville airport.  Van is road ready to to be driven/ customized.  Build your own Sportsmobile.
