This is clean and unmolested survivor Trans Am. Garage kept its entire life and well cared for even though it is driven and enjoyed. It runs smooth and strong and it drives nice and tight and quiet like it should. Drivetrain-- original 305 V8 with 4bbl carburetor. 87 was the final year for carbureted factory Trans Am. Runs great and doesn't overheat. speed trans mission shifts as it should. Rear end has drum brakes and has just had the fluid changed. Exhaust appears to be original. Body--- nice and straight car with all of the original panels in place. No rust. Hardtop car so less creaks and no leaks. Paint shines up nicely but it's not perfect. Has some chips here and there. Original owner stated that some of the panels were repainted when the car was fairly new due to the GM paint peeling issue. Spoiler is still pretty intact but it will need replacing at some point down the line. Does have aome cracking paint on the spoiler. All lights work, all panels fit right and look good. The belt moldings at the top of the doors are starting to crack and new reproduction set will be included with the car. The car shows really nicely just want to describe it in as much detail as can to avoid any surprises. Interior-- original upholstery is in really nice shape. Seats are all firm and not out of shape at all. Rear seats fold as they should. Carpets and original floor mats are also in great shape. Door panels, all plastics, dash and console are all excellent. Rear hatch pulldown works. Original radio and all gauges and speakers work. Overall this is nice car that has been gently driven and well cared for for its entire life.
