1983 AMC JEEP J10 360 V8 4WD Selling my 1983 AMC jeep j10 with the AMC 360 v8. Clean title in hand. This amazing truck was found in the dry Nevada desert. bought it from the original owner there. This truck is almost 100% stock/original, Has not been restored like many people think! Jeep is in amazing shape. The truck has 58,000 miles on it since new. The truck has been garage kept all of its life. This j10 starts and runs great, and drives even better! It drives like modern day vehicle. Does highway speeds safely with ease. Power steering works better than my modern truck. Transmission shifts great. The amc 360 makes great power. Brakes work perfect. The truck runs cool, with issues. The interior is amazing. All dash gauges work as they should. The original Jeep AM/FM radio works well. Factory AC still works, but could use recharge. Heater blows hot. Windows, doors, tailgate all work great. Truck seals up water tight. The original owner did have the truck professionally painted about 20 years ago because he felt it had faded bit chalky (probably just needed paint restored) No bondo or new panels were used. The tailgate was replaced later on and is the only part of the truck not original to it. It was from an '83 j10 as well. You can tell the tailgate has some rust spots under the paint and is the only real flaw on the truck. Under carriage doesn't have any serious rust, and the body has just few of the famous spots starting to rust bubble as pictured. Those rust spots are at the mid bed seam at the rear as pictured. That being said this truck is in very hard to find shape anymore but is over 36 years old and is not perfect. It does have some imperfections, This is not restored FSJ truck but SURVIVOR! Would make great truck for collection or great daily driver. Without doubt anywhere you take this truck, you'll receive compliments wherever you go!
