Since 2010, the Jeep only accumulated 210 miles by the second owner. Before coming to Florida, it was reportedly one-owner Jeep. Beautiful 9A Alpaca Brown original paint! If you're looking for an original paint, beautiful survivor, this is it! The Jeep is beautiful survivor. The 41 year old original paint is pretty darn good given the age. It does have some patina on the windshield frame, hood, fenders and few miscellaneous areas. This Jeep has no noticable paint touch-ups and is about original as have ever seen. Absolutely zero rot anywhere. You can expect some very superficial surface rust here and there, but absolutely no rot to be found.Here are some highlights of the Jeep:41,326 original miles. The odometer has NOT rolled and the mileage is listed as actual on the title.Very desirable automatic transmission and full-time 4WD Quadra-trac transfer caseOriginal paint inside and outVery nice original dash pad with no cracksUncut dash with original radio delete plateInterior is very nice and keep in mind it has NOT even been cleaned! Passenger and rear seat are near perfect. Driver seat does have some normal wear but still very presentable. Visors and door panels are extremely nice.Never any collisions.Automatic transmission and quadra-trac transmission both shift effortlessly.Original jack and jack strap, both very difficult to find.This Jeep is presented without receiving any type of cosmetic detail (car wash only). You can only imagine how nice it'll look after cleaned, buffed, polished and waxed!!!Parked in the garage for days and no noticable fluid drops on the floor. However, please keep in mind every Jeep own leaks drop here or there.Wipers, blower motor and horn work as expectedHighly desirable 9A "Alpaca Brown" paint code.What's very interesting about this Jeep is the factory correct vent on the driver side fender. for sure thought it was aftermarket, but after extensive research, we just learned this is indeed 100% factory correct component. Since this Jeep originated in California, it is California emissions component that was designed to cool the carburetor. Many of us in the Jeep community were surprised to learn of this item since it is almost never seen. The vent fan is connected to thermal switch and turns on when the engine bay gets to certain temperature. Very neat component and definitely an AMC oddity!I purchased this Jeep in Florida 2 days prior to flying back to Arizona several weeks ago and did not have time to address the minor issues this Jeep has. Here are the minor issues I have noted.Heater core has leak. The heater hose is now bypassed until the heater core can be replaced.Volt and oil pressure gauges do not seem to read accurately, though they do work. When the Jeep is off the needles do not reset all the way to the left but both peg right when the ignition is on.Gas gauge works intermittentlyThe original carpet comes with the Jeep, but is filthy. It should clean up very well. One piece, which believe is the rear floor section does have tear. The rest of the carpet is very nice. The carpet will be in bag in the back seat.The rear seat mounting bracket has some superficial surface rust. imagine at one point the carpet held moisture. I'd sand blast the bracket and repaint it. Should look good as new.Hood prop rod is off the hood. Needs new retainer piece which are very inexpensive ($5 or so) and readily available.Please don't purchase this Jeep and expect ready-to-go running survivor. Please expect some very light work. Nothing will need an overhaul or anything like that, just routine maintenance for Jeep of this vintage. If was here longer would have performed most of the maintenance, but time simply did not permit.I've tried my very best to accurately describe this CJ7 to the best of my ability. may have missed something here or there, but always try hard to be as honest as possible because nobody likes surpirse.
