BIG BLOCKCHEVROLET CORVETTE1971 Chevrolet Corvette “Big Block” backed by M-214-Speed transmission.  The ‘Vette startedlife as factory LT-1 small block but had the current 1972 454 c.i. Chevy (2-boltmains) casting 3999289 added just over 10 years ago.  Current owner purchased the car as you see itin 2012 with plans of making it big block ‘clone’.  Unfortunately, other projects took priorityand the car has sat since. NO TRADESThe interior has not been touched and it is not knownif the gauges work or not.  All of the glassis in good condition.  The car wasrepainted in black (not known when) and it appears the original bonding stripsare in place.  L-88 style hood was added,NO LT-1 hood included.  No cracking isapparent in the body and the frame is sold except for some surface scale.  Additionally, the Corvette came with powersteering, 4-wheel power disc brakes and power antenna.The “Data Plate” was custom made and does NOT reflectthe original color and trim.ENGINE TRANSMISSION1972 454 c.i.
