I am considering putting in storage if this does not sell. This car is also listed locally. This car has had no patches on the body frame or floors ever. Still has all the original factory undercoating ALL ORIGINAL This is an original paint 1963 Buick LeSabre 4Dr sedan with 62,000 original miles. The last 63 Buick 4dr cars seen sell were not as nice as this one and sold for $5400 and $6000. One had nicer interior but 1/4's that were bubbling pretty bad.
This car was originally purchased at Beacon Motors in Weyburn Saskatchewan by an elderly women. She owned the car until sometime in the mid 90's when she passed away. This car had under 30K at that time. This car was then handed down to friend of the family which had the car until 2005. then purchased it from this owner and had it shipped over to Ontario when it had 38K. From 05 to now have added just under 24K and have driven all the way down to NC, OH and over to MI several times with no issues ever. I am only selling because bought another car have been looking for since was teenager. Paint is good and original but has scrapes and chips but most of it is not seen from feet away This car has all its original chrome which is nice and clean for its age but does have some small pits here and there... This car drives nice and straight and brakes really nice too for having its original equipment. Still has single master cylinder and original front aluminum drums. The car has the original 401 with speed transmission. The car runs and drives great but the carb does need tune up or adjusting. Runs little rich. still would trust to drive this anywhere. The washer pump makes noise but does not spit out much fluid. looked pump up the other day and think it was about $40. Wipers work fine. Last year re-cored the original rad, replaced the front shoes, all u-joints, hanger bearing,hood insulation and new tires. Newer battery. had new cross over pipe made up few years ago in stainless and was going to do the rest as it rusted out but have not had any issues with it in 12 years and still looks solid. Car is kept dry most of the time and rarely get caught in rain. As you can see in the pictures all the trunk lid and door lips are pretty much mint with no rust at all. Floor and trunk pans are very clean with no rot either. If you look close at the pass side fender you can see small rust spot. Stitching has come out of the back seat at the top. The seats do have some stains/wear and shows their age.Needs good cleaning.... Dash pad has no cracks and is soft. A few years ago had someone break into this car although there was no really bad damage they screwed up few things.... broke the antenna, broke the stainless around the back window(top pass side) I have new stainless piece for the window but have not put it on... also have other stainless for the car that can go with it. I have some extra parts. that can go with the car. Mostly bolt on stuff.
Car is being sold as is so ask lots of questions and will do my best to answer because am sure may have forgotten some small things but overall this car is very solid and can be driven as is. $500 deposit. The remainder can be paid by cash in person. I live about hour from Buffalo boarder and 3.5 hours from the Detroit boarder. Buyer will be responsible for pick up of this vehicle. can give you some time to come get it if needed. Just keep good communication.. am flexible. This should be an easy transaction to bring over to the US. Last car sold the buyer only had to have the ownership copy of the auction for taxes and they just looked outside to see if the car was there.
