The car was being built to be show car but unfortunately due to health issues the previous owner was unable to finish. The car had been stored indoors for nearly all of the past 30 years. The car Features 312 Cubic Inch Engine, Automatic Transmission, PS, PB, Both Hard and Soft Tops, Extremely Solid Car, sporting all original sheet metal. Floor panels and undercarriage outstanding virtually rust free condition! (SEE PICS) Nothing but surface rust as the car has been sitting for the past 30 some years. 49,596 original Miles, Car will need to be repainted because it has surface rust and the frame will need to be re-detailed and the entire car reassembled. This 1957 Thunderbird will be at easy restoration for someone who is familiar with these early birds. Engine and transmission were both rebuilt at the time this restoration was stopped, probably should be gone through again. All the suspension looks to be completely brand new which was also installed in the 80s before the restoration was completed. This sale Includes tons of parts, many re-chromed parts including bumpers as well as many NOS parts new Oem exhaust kit etc etc. We were told previous owner spent over $6000 back in the 80s on re-chroming parts!
