NO TRADESThe current owner purchased the car approximately years ago froma ‘dealer’ in the Northeast, and it came with no papers or documentation.  It is believed to have not come with softtop and the hardtop has been reconditioned and remains boxed up.  No photos were taken since it was not opened,but it does come with the car.  Currentmileage shows to be 104,000 and it is believed that somewhere during itsownership the car had the drive line, suspension, and some of the chromerebuilt or replaced.  phone call was made to the Corvette registry and it is believeda fuel injected 283/250 h.p. backed by Power glide automatic transmission wasrare and they only had record of cars in existence…this made number 4.  know everyone talks about “numbersmatching” all the time, and will admit that am not Corvette expert, butthe car was evaluated by well-respected shop (Tony’s Corvette Shop, inGaithersburg, MD) and this is their evaluation. It is fuel injected; automatic Corvette painted in its original Polowhite with silver cove.  The lacquerpaint is repaint and shows some age with ‘crow’s feet’ in areas (see photos).  Most of the chrome is original with someparts like the rear bumper and emblems being re-plated or replaced.  All of the body panels and bonding strips areoriginal and still in place.  The cardoes not appear to have been in any serious accidents, the only spot that showssome repair is the left front marker light area.The entire report will of course go with the car when it is sold.The ’57 starts easily and runs great.  Pleasure to drive.Listed below are SOME of the numbers pulled from thereport which helped to verify the Corvettes originality.ATTENTION DEALERS!!!
