Mildly scruffy, mechanically pristine, low km under-used modern British supersport bike now goes great, seeks new owner.

Bought this as project bike but realised now have too many. D'oh! was going to tidy it up but have run out of time. It used to have poor running issue which stumped its previous owners so for years it sat more than it was ridden. eventually found split in the in-tank fuel filter, which resulted in low fuel pressure at the injectors. sorted that simple but show-stopping problem, and it now runs great, handles great, accelerates hard and is LOT of performance for the money. It's also bit different. Why ride yet another Japanese 600cc supersport bike when you can go British? There's Union Jacks all over this one! God Save the Queen, Rule Brittania, "there is some corner of foreign shed that is forever England", etc.

I don't have much history on the bike but know it hasn't done lot of work. Odometer shows measly 9,460km and the condition of things like the original sprockets and chain back that up. It's clearly had mild drop on the right side and some bodywork patch-up cheap Chinese fairing kit would tidy it up nicely, though it looks nice enough from distance. The last owner tried to work out why it wouldn't run right, would return to it every so often to tinker, eventually gave up, and sold it to me because they had "too many projects". Sound familiar?

My local bike workshop looked it over, and have their report saying it has healthy 145psi compression on all cylinders. They also cleaned the fuel injectors, so any detrimental effect of the bike's lack of use should be minimal. It's now ready to be enjoyed, not sit around gathering dust. I'd do that myself, but have more bikes than can ride, let alone justify owning, so this one needs to move along, and is priced accordingly.
