Greetings to You Prospective Purchaser,This 1980 Suzuki GSX400 is ripper machine. Smallish and Slim in stature, Light and Agile in tight situations, but BIG and Complying in Delivering Rider Pleasure.
It is Easily maneuverable both at walking pace and also in normal riding situations.
As seen it has been customized touch to make it individual.I bought this bike and 1/2 years ago and have bought it back to "GOOD" Road going example of this model. The speed gearbox is fantastic,as it sits on freeway speed limits comfortably with more performance to go when required, and it is very light to ride and park
with Good turn of acceleration and Good stopping power.Also this GSX handles itself well in the real world of getting from to with all of the above qualities and eggcellent fuel economy.
To start with, the electrics have had thorough going over and are top notch, including second brake light assembly for extra rear illumination.The fork seals have been replaced. The tyres are new. As is the drive chain and sprockets. The Front braking system has been overhauled.The rear brake is drum hub and works as it should. The engine and carby's have been fettled, so it goes very well indeed.
New Mirrors and handlebar levers replacements. And also has had centrestand fitted. Apols as the Tacho does not work as it should.The speedometer is replacement unit so the actual kilometres are unknown. think lot less than odometer reading says.This Motorcycle is currently on Historic Registration, so join Club with this bike and enjoy LOW cost motorcycling for 60 days per year(over day per week) to please yourself where and when you use it, and attend club events on top of before mentioned usage.Happy to answer any questions you may have.
