Up for auction is this Mercedes Benz W115 220 Sedan. 4 cylinder petrol engine. 4 speed floor shift manual. The vehicle has been in dry storage for 20 years and is in great condition inside and out. Slight split in the dash, signs of rust starting to appear at the bottom of the front gaurds but nothing major at all.
The carpets, seats and trim are in excellent order The paint is in very good condition and appears to be orignal This is genuine un molested car that has been in collection for many many years.
The odometer on the car shows 66930 miles
Currently not running but does start on carb cleaner so suspect the carby needs good clean Tank has been drained and the fuel lines have been blown through with new fuel and tere is fuel going to the carby so believe the carby needs good clean or overhaul Would not take much to get going

Has the original log books with service history and owners manual. Books show the vehicle was originally from Victoria as the service history shows boyd krohn of new pty ltd as the srvicing dealer which was at 320 high street kew VIC
I am unsure of the year as have no idea how to determine this however the books show its first service was in 1971 and also the seats have no headrest which would make it either 1969 or 1970 as after 1970 cars had to have headrest so am told.
The vehicle is located in Darwin NT, can deliver to freight depot of your choice within the Darwin area and will pay for the tilt tray as part of the sale.
