Great, safe, economical little car. Owned by my mum since new, generally in great condition for its age. It is the top of the line Avantgarde model with sequential auto. It is the first version of the Class series and you can unclip and remove all the seats (except drivers),leaving flat floor, making it very versatile car. Due to family illness, this poor little car has been hardly driven in the last 3-4 years. Rego has just run out, (1 july) so it requires pink slip. We have decided it is time to go before it sits forgotten again. It appears the power steering has stopped since last drove it, and haven't got around to someone looking at it, can't afford to invest any money in it, so grab yourself bargain, cause it's probably an easy fix. I lent it to friend for few weeks and she thought it was great, even if the steering was bit heavy. really don't know lot about it, other than last rego it needed thorough check for blue slip which it passed no problem, and hasn't done anything much since then. At that point planned to use it myself, and spent around $1600 on it, but then decided we needed seater more. Those works included service, brakes rotors, new control gear module ($700), rear door gas struts and other things will have to check receipts to remember. New Battery this year. Tyres are very good, never been in an accident other clipping roo, professionally repaired. I recall gearbox was replaced under warranty around 100K km, so it should be better than average. Great sized sunroof, lining appears to be hanging little in one spot. Cosmetic rubbers on the front quarters near mirrors need replacing it it bothers you. Generally currently starts and drives fine but feels like it hasn't been driven for while. Jerks little when first gets put reverse, but mechanic thought it just needs to be driven more. Leather seats and dash in great condition, and original Merc floor mats mum always had other mats over the top of. Luggage cover, manuals/handbooks and service history all included. Great quality, safe car for the price just haven't had the time to do anything about it in the past months, so our loss is your gain. Photos form part of the description.
