am the third owner of this lovely Mk1GT Capri. This matching numbered, Peppermint Greencar which was manufactured by Ford in Homebush Sydney is not concourse car.However if you are looking for an all there original car, in very goodcondition this may be for you. It has the rare tan interior with newseat upholstery.The Superlights are 13x6s plus the carcomes with the original 5x13x5 steels and chromies. Wheel arches are notrolled.The alternator has been replaced by agenerator likewise the starter has been replaced by much better option. Bothof these original parts come with the car. The radio in dash is the façade only butthe radio which was not working will also come with car. As will all my Capribits and pieces which include all under dash air flow tubing.It has stainless steel exhaust fittedthat sounds fabulous.Recent work on front suspension has thecar in great condition on road performance wise. I have spent what the car needed toremain original and yet be reliable cruiser. This rare classic sports coupe’s odometerhas 108,000 miles on the clock of which am responsible for 10000 in the last10 years. It has spent all my ownership under cover. Although not show car ithas won best Capri and Sponsors choice awards at Small Ford Show SA in therecent past. use it often but never in the wet and it does get paint chipswhich try and think of as love bites. This is how keep the car always, notjust show days or cruises, always. I have been President of a Ford car club so am aware of whatis required for quality small Ford. also know how hard it is to find goodcar. It is on historic registration in SA.
