Mercedes fans, my second listing. Honestly not sure if this is car should be selling but right now sentiment has taken second priority to getting few other areas of life sorted out.Per my first listing do not fabricate great stories about vehicle in order to sell it so what you read description wise is either as quoted to me by the previous seller or what personally have seen with brief lookover the car. Photo's are very clear in my opinion and think this is where potential buyers should start before going onto reading the description. Please use the zoom option that ebay provides. What ask that you see for yourself is that while this car is great overall look and complete the rust is not beyond repair but neither is it surface rust. There are holes and with holes it is my opinion that the correct repair involves removal of that panel or part to carry out the repair from both sides. It's your option which way you do it but it's my obligation to make certain you know it's not surface rust. did not capture the Sunroof panel too well in the photos but there is rust on the rear edge of it and it would need removal and repairing. Having said that love the shape. proportion and stance of this model and nobody can argue it's going to be rising Car in the collector ranks. Engine this is verbatim from the previous owner ...." The car was being worked on to start it after the fuel system died. During that process the car backfired and the engine kicked back and threw the loose timing chain off one side and jammed it" So, from me HAVE NOT TRIED TO DO ANYTHING WITH THE MOTOR AND CANNOT VERIFY IF THIS JAMMED CHAIN IS ALL THAT IS WRONG.I do note that the fuel pump has been removed from the tank and is hanging out in the open. This becomes the problem with all cars left sitting too long! The radiator and the air cleaner assembly are in the boot of the car. am unable to see anything missing. do feel it is complete.Interior also quite tidy and complete for the age. Nothing special to comment on, neither negatives or positives. Reference again the other two Mercedes vehicles to be listed they are 1958 220S true project or Rat Rod) and 1969 250CE Coupe .Inspections by appointment please. Contact me via ebay inbox.
