Barn Find! This is rust free 1968 Ford Cortina 440 Deluxe sedan. The car is from the country and has been in undercover storage for over thirty years (last driven in 1983). It is an Australian assembled car, and was bought new in rural Victoria.It is four-speed column change manual with 1600cc engine. Upholstery is great driver side of the front seat hasn't sagged at all. It still has the 1968 model radio fitted. I am told that the odometer reading of 47,678 miles is original.Body and paint terrific considering the age of the car. All have done is clean it and get it running (new plugs, points and fuel). The engine runs perfectly.After not moving for so long the brake and clutch cylinders will need replacing (I haven't done anything to them). A couple of suspension ball joints are worn, am replacing them.It is great little car that does not need much attention to restore it.
