1956 CHEVROLET 5700 CABOVER COE, 454 BIGBLOCK, PATINA- Up for sale have very rare and verycool 1956 Chev 5700 Cab Over unfinished project. - As shown in the pictures the truck comeswith the complete hard to find Cab Over sheet metal. The sheet metal is inincredible condition for its age, the body is entirely rust free aside for somevery minor small holes on one edge of the bonnet and in the top edge of thewindshield channel. The floors, doors, sills, roof, hinge pockets, gutters, cabcorners etc are all clean solid and 100% rust free. The entire cab was sandblasted to bare metal and primed, it has been sitting for sometime hence thecool patina.- The COE has been mounted to Chevdually chassis with independent front suspension with coil springs, and largeheavy duty Chev dually diff and leafs etc in the rear. It has disc brakes inthe front and drums in the rear. It is Chev lug with polished Alloy ALCOAwheels with good tyres and new centre caps. Custom cab mounts have beenfabricated to mount the cab securely to the chassis.- The truck has mid mounted late modelGen 454ci bolt main Big Block and turbo 400 trans. was told by theprevious owner that it was good strong motor. also have an alternator, A/Ccompressor, and power steering pump for the motor.- The truck also comes with large fueltanks to be mounted along the chassis rails, original side glass, original sidevent windows, door handles, bonnet latches, original steering column, radiator,shocks and other small items. It also comes with custom made notch which was madeto be welded into the chassis rails in the rear to allow the back to be airbagged and lowered.- This is very rare and very coolproject, perfect for cruiser or hot rod or bike hauler.
