1953 FX Holden Project CarI am thinking of selling my ’53 FX Holden project car becauseI have two others that need my attention. This car has been stripped and modifiedwith large centre tunnel to take V8 and put in undercoat. It has fullyrebuilt Ford 9” LSD disc brake rear end professionally built to fit FX FJHolden fitted. It has Commodore stud pattern front and rear with reset extraleaf EK Holden rear leaf springs fitted. The car also has CSR HR front crossmember modified to take either V8 or straight six engine. The front end hasCommodore forward mounted rack and pinion and big PBR 280mm 28mm fluted discsand calipers and it has BMW BBS Mahle 16” wheels fitted. have most partsneeded to put the car back together, including all glass, door hardware, VP Commodorefront bucket seats (or original bench seat, original rear seat (ready for upholstery). The car has CSR chassis kit that needs to be fitted. have recentlyrebuilt warm HZ Holden 308 V8 fully assembled to Turbo 400 auto set up forgas. The engine has been balanced with new rings and bearing with ported heads, roller rockers and extractors (removed from running HZ that was scrappedbecause of endemic rust). also have black early 70's speed steering column for the car. Thismay be of interest to someone with time and money to spend on finishing this worthwhileproject.
